*If requested, submit transcripts from all high schools attended including your current school transcript with Fall semester grades and Spring semester courses in progress. We understand that not all schools will have transcripts ready to send by the deadline, so please have them sent as soon as available and they will be processed in the order received.

Steps to Apply as a Freshman Applicant

1. Apply online and pay application fee:
  1. Complete your admission application at .
  2. Pay $70 nonrefundable application fee.
  3. Print and keep the confirmation page.

2. Submit official high school transcripts:
  1. Ask every high school you attended to send your official transcripts to Cal State East Bay. Ask early because all transcripts must be received by the document deadline.
  2. Transcripts must be submitted one of three ways:
    1. Electronically
    2. Mailed directly by the school to 25800 Carlos Bee Boulevard | Hayward, CA 94542
    3. Hand-carried in the original sealed envelopes to Cal State East Bay's Enrollment Information Center located on the first floor of the Student Services and Administration (SA) Building on the Hayward Campus. You can also deliver it to the Academic Services Center on the Concord Center.
3. Submit test scores or college transcripts for credit:
  1. Courses completed at a community college or Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), or CLEP test scores that may earn you course credit must be submitted to the Office of Admissions to be evaluated.  
  2. Log in to for a list of required items.
