Doris Duncan, PhD, Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who
Professor Emeritus Doris Duncan has been honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who for her achievements in the fields of computer information systems and higher education. Dr. Duncan joins a prestigious list of inductees who have excelled in their fields for at least 20 years. She was selected based on her position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field.
A faculty member for nearly 40 years at Cal State East Bay, Dr. Duncan retired in 2010 but continued to teach half time through 2015 as a participant in the Faculty Early Retirement Program. Dr. Duncan currently serves on the College of Business and Economics Advisory Board. We are grateful for her continued service to Cal State East Bay. She remains active in her community and serves as chair of the Foster City Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee and board member of the Hillbarn Theatre, among other volunteer activities.
