Embodied Magic through Ancestral Performance

This event will be facilitated by Sarah Hogland-Gurulé, aka yung bruja. This is a special movement offering that grows from the roots of Día de los Muertos, which is how some of Sarah's people honor their ancestors. We will lovingly and respectfully become moving altars to our ancestors as we practice intentional breath, develop a greater awareness of our bodies and explore movement prompts that connect us to our ancestors - known and unknown, blood related and chosen. No dance experience necessary. Just come with your miraculous self and an open(ing) heart.
