Our original objective for this guide was to provide a quick reference of easy to integrate diversity and social justice (DSJ) content and teaching methods. What we’ve come to produce, over the past year however is an "in house" guide showing varied approaches toward DSJ faculty development, which team members carefully crafted reflecting their respective disciplines and assessments of their diverse students. This shift in focus emerged out of our growing recognition of the importance of hearing "the workers on the shop floor," our committed faculty members from a variety of disciplines. We hope you find our first edition inspiring and useful.
