Cal State East Bay Makes ‘Best Universities’ List

Cal State East Bay is one of the best universities in the state, according to a new listing from the college ranking website Schools.com.

According to the website, the list was created based on factors such as affordability, support services and program availability. Each school was given a score based on a 100-point scale and Cal State East Bay was listed as No. 6  out of 10.

The listing called attention to Cal State East Bay’s numerous distance education programs, including a B.S. in business administration, a B.S. in hospitality and tourism, and M.S. programs in education and health care administration.

In addition, Cal State East Bay was recognized for its low tuition and fees, and “low median debt incurred by graduates,” according to the report.  

As sixth out of the 10 universities included in the ranking, Cal State East Bay was the highest ranked ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ in the northern part of the state, listed ahead of ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Chico (No. 7) and San Jose State University (No. 8). At the top of the list was CSU Long Beach, and CSU Monterey Bay was 10th.
