HAYWARD, Calif. - Following four consecutive home games, the Pioneer men's basketball team (2-13 CCAA, 5-15) will play at Chico State (7-8 CCAA, 11-9) on February 12 and Cal State Stanislaus (5-10 CCAA, 9-11) on February 13.  Earlier in the season, the Pioneers lost to Chico State 68-53 and Stanislaus State 66-58.

After 15 CCAA games, the Pioneers are averaging 58.9 points while shooting 38 percent from the field. Freshman MARK SAMUELS is the Pioneers leading scorer with an 8.5 point per game average. Samuels is shooting 71 percent from the free throw line (28-39).  FRANKIE MCWIRT is averaging 5.9 points per game. JAWAAN RUBIN is averaging a team-best 3.5 rebounds a game.

JUN UCHIDA is fifth in the CCAA in assists (3.7) and assist-turnover ratio (2.1). DEMETRIUS OWENS is 13th in blocks with an average of 0.6 a game.
