East Bay Local Digest: De Angelis to be honored March 31

Cal State East Bay athletic director Debby De Angelis will be inducted into the Alameda County Women's Hall of Fame on March 31. "I am thankful to Themy Adachi, Mills College athletic director, for her nomination and to the committee for my selection," she said.

The hall was begun in 1993 by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors, Alameda County Health Care Foundation and Alameda County Commission on the Status of Women. De Angelis joins Starlings Volleyball Club Program Director Lisa Busbee-Young, Hayward Area Recreation and Park District Lead Sports League Organizer Vanessa Woodmansee and Mission San Jose High physical education teacher Linda Campana as inductees from the Sports & Athletics category.
