ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Associate Professor of Management Daniel Martin participated on a “Compassion-Building Interventions” panel July 20 at the conference held in Telluride, Colo. The conference was the first large-scale international conference of its kind dedicated to scientific inquiry into altruism, compassion, and service.

Martin’s research interests include: social capital, ethical behavior, racism and prejudice, human resources assessment, religiosity, spirituality and humor. His current work on the use of untapped social capital to ameliorate social problems (e.g. mentoring networks) aims to serve as a research, skills development and assessment platform.
