Priority Registration for Student Parents
Priority Registration for Student Parents
Per AB 2881, Section 66025.81, student parents are to be granted priority registration. According to the bill, “student parent” means a student who has a child or children under 18 years of age who will receive more than half of their support from that student.
How to Self Certify as a Student Parent
To qualify for priority registration, students must have at least one dependent child who is currently under the age of 18 for which you will provide more than half of their financial support. If you meet this criteria, log into your MyÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Student Homepage and select the ‘Profile’ tile and then select ‘Students with Dependents’. You will then be asked to provide your youngest dependent(s) date of birth.
You may also view our student guide for instructions on how to do this.
