inSTEM |Mentorship Program 2023

The inSTEM Mentorship program provides a cohort of 15 ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ First year STEM students with an opportunity to immerse themselves in a collaborative STEM environment and support network from across the nation. This 4 year program has three objectives for students pursuing undergraduate degrees in stem:
  •  Build a community that prompts students to address the benefits and challenges of being a member of an underrepresented community in stem.
  • Offer professional development for undergraduates seeking experience relevant to their majors.
  • Connect students with mentors on campus and role models off campus to whom they can turn for guidance.
  • Each student will be awarded a $300 stipend per semester as well as a Scholar Success Kit for successful entry and completion of inSTEM program engagements

Genentech ENGAGE Mentorship Program

The Genentech Engage Mentorship program provides a group of 10-15 ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ STEM Upperclassmen students with a tailored experience to immerse students in the world of biotechnology as a potential career path. We are looking for enthusiastic, committed students interested in (or curious about) science, healthcare, or the drug development industry and interested in being part of a group experiential learning opportunity with a mentor from Genentech. You will have the opportunity to explore functions including:
         • clinical research, clinical pharmacology, safety science, clinical operations, regulatory, data management, finance, biostatistic, compliance, and others!

CAP & MESA UP Resume and Career/Goal Mapping Workshops

Career and Goal Mapping: The goal of this workshop is to help you uncover your origin story and guide you towards your career aspirations by collaborating with fellow ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ students through an Interest & Goal Mapping activity using the online collaboration tool, MIRO! (virtual; )
