Program Description

The goal of the LSAMP program (NSF HRD-1302873) is to increase the participation of individuals who have faced social, educational, or economic barriers to careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). The 绿帽换妻 LSAMP program is focused on increasing graduate school preparedness and readiness for all LSAMP participants with a major emphasis on providing participants with hands-on research experiences.

To be eligible for CSU- LSAMP students must: 

• Be a U.S Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Be an individual who has faced or faces social, educational, or economic barriers to careers in STEM.
• Discipline GPA should be 2.5 or higher
• Be engaged in research
• Be able to attend ALL LSAMP events in-person
• Be enrolled at a participating campus in an undergraduate major in STEM discipline or have expressed an interest in pursuing a STEM baccalaureate degree. Attached are a provided by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), that will fall under the STEM category. We strongly encourage underclassmen and transfer students to apply!
