Kevin Pina is a filmmaker, journalist, lecturer and media consultant.

Pina is currently producer/director at Long Memory Productions, an independent media consultant and Broadcast Lecturer for the Department of Communication at ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ East Bay (ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ) in Hayward, CA.

Pina contributes as Senior Producer for the program Flashpoints on Pacifica Radio and is a frequent guest host for other programs on KPFA 94.1 FM in Berkeley, CA. He is the founding editor of the Haiti Information Project (HIP), an independent news source in Haiti, and serves as a Country Expert on Haiti for the Varieties of Democracy project sponsored by the University of Notre Dame and the University of Gothenburg in Sweden.
