International Education Week 2024
International Education Week (IEW), annually observed on the third week of November, is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.
ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ International Programs will host International Education Week 2022 on November 18-22, 2024. We'll have Study Abroad infromation sessions Monday through Wednesday and the main event for the entire campus community on Thursday.

Attendees are encouraged to attend in traditional attire from their home countries or from cultures they appreciate for this festive occasion. We will have resource tables from departments, cultural clubs and the for students to explore as well as informational tables by students in our American Language Program.
Special performances will include a Chinese yo-yo demonstration, musical performances by international students on guitar and sitar, and an Indian dance.

Fulbright US Student Program Info Session (for US citizen/resident undergraduate students) is the premiere US government scholarship program that offers opportunities for U.S. citizens to pursue fully funded graduate study, conduct research, or teach English overseas. During the session, the types of Fulbright awards, application components, and tips will be given. Following the program overview, attendees gather in a ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ breakout room to discuss the campus application process. |

Show me the Money! Info Session on how to pay for Study Abroad/Exchanges (for any undergraduate student) ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Study Abroad will provide an information session for students interested in studying overseas and how to pay for it. After a quick overview of all the places you can go to get a cultural experience and academic credit while studying abroad/away, we will discuss scholarships and finances so you understand the financial commitment and how affordable study abroad can be. Attending an information session does not commit you to study abroad but it does give you the tools to find the program and funding options that best fits your academic and financial needs. |
