Best Academic Fit for: Courses in English are offered in Art (Visual Design, Photography & more), Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, English (Creative Writing, Literature), Global Studies, Japanese Language & Culture, Math, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and more. Most exchange students will take one or two courses for their major (or minor) along with coursework in Korean language & culture.
Chung-Ang University is located in the heart of Seoul, South Korea, near the Han River. Accredited in 1953, the University prides itself on a philosophy of truth through scholarship, with the purpose of nurturing educational attributes necessary for leadership, and the promotion of global diversity and culture. Exchange students are able to participate in a Buddy System Program, Cultural Activities that include field trips, and clubs.
Program Dates and Period of Study
Semester and year long programs- Fall Semester: September 1st - to the 3rd week of December
- Spring Semester: March 2nd - to the 3rd week of June

- Cumulative G.P.A. of 2.7
- Completion of 'Golden 4' GE Requirements (A1, A2, A3, B4)
Language Requirement
- None: Instruction in English. Students can take Korean language courses while abroad.

Academic Structure
Students must select one of CAU's academic departments as the 'academic home' while studying abroad (i.e. generally a department that aligns with the major at ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ), but may take courses outside that department. Application Process and Deadlines
ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Exchange Partners have a two step application process. First, the exchange partner invites ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ's study abroad office to identify (i.e. 'nominate') the students that will be submitting applications. Second, the Exchange Partner invites the nominated students to complete the Exchange Partner's application.

Housing
Chung-Ang University has on-campus housing for students at both of their campuses (Seoul and Anseong).
Program Costs and Estimated Expenses
Participants pay tuition and study abroad health insurance to ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ, and will need to plan for additional costs such as: round-trip airfare, visa application fees, living expenses.
