Transfer Student Programs' mission is to help transfer students transition to the University with a greater sense of connection, engagement, and involvement with the East Bay community through academics and co-curricular activities. Are you a new transfer student and have some questions? Transfer Student Ambassadors are here to assist and provide insight into our campus.

As a transfer student, you are a valued part of our community as you join many other students like you who are committed to pursuing their educational goals. We recognize that transfers have different needs than first-year students, and we are here to make your adjustment and transition into our community as smooth as possible.

The National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students (NISTS) (third week of October ) organizes National Transfer Student Week to celebrate transfer students and the professionals who support them on their journeys.
