Financial Resources
The California Dream Act allows eligible undocumented students to receive California State sponsored financial aid. Qualifying students can be eligible for certain types of state financial aid such as CSU scholarships and grants, Cal Grants, Chafee Foster Youth Grants and other state financial aid. Students must have an Ab540 Affidavit on file with the Admissions Department in order to qualify for State Aid.
Students will need to complete the California every year to determine continuing eligibility for state and institutional aid. The annual deadline to submit is March 2nd each year. Funds, known as the California Dream Loan, are limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Students of Cal State East Bay should also complete and submit the form in order to begin a review of your eligibility.
If you have a Dream Act Application on File, email the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships if you are interested in applying for the Dream Loan.
