Faculty Details
Dave Epperson
David has been actively involved in recreation and leisure since 1979 when he started his first martial arts class. He has over 30 plus years of experience as a student as well as an instructor. He has studied many different styles of martial arts over his 30 plus years as well as acquiring black belts in several different styles. David is also been a certified dive scuba driver as well as a dive master since 1988. He enjoys driving trips to a variety of places such as Monterey, along the California coast, Catalina Island and Coxen Hole (Roatan) Honduras. David enjoys traveling domestically as well as abroad and has travelled to several countries. David has been an avid dancer since 2008. He dances Salsa, Buchatta, Salsa Rueda, Kizomba and Semba throughout the Bay Area as well as Internationally.
David is one of several faculty members in the Department of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism who teaches in the same department where he received a B.S. in Recreation. David has been in the Department of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism as an instructor since 2008.
