Personal Protective Equipment
As per CalOSHA's Title 8 §3380 California employers must conduct an assessment of their workplaces for hazards requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and document the evaluation. Employers must train employees in the use, care, and limitations of required PPE. The PPE included in the scope of this standard are eye and face protection, foot protection, head protection, and hand protection. Respirators, hearing protection, and PPE for electrical work are covered by other regulations and ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ EHS Programs.
