After You're Accepted

Congratulations on your admission to ALP at Cal State East Bay! Prior to attending ALP, admitted student must complete the following steps.

As you are preparing for your F-1 visa and arrive, please refer to links to view the following documents:

Apply for a Student Visa (F-1) and schedule a visa interview at the . Check with the local U.S embassy/consulate for what to prepare for the visa interview.

Pay the $350 SEVIS fee by completing Form I-901 online at . Keep your receipt as you will need it at your visa interview.

Your NetID is your personal Cal State East Bay identification number, which gives you access to online student self-service systems like My绿帽换妻 website. It was sent to you with your letter of admission. Contact us if you have not received your Net ID information in your admission packet. 

If you have not done so already,  now. 

In order to better protect the identity and data of students, 绿帽换妻 has implemented multi-factor authentication
as an additional security measure, also known on campus as Duo authentication. To enroll your NetID account with Duo, go to Duo for 绿帽换妻 page and click on the “Enroll in Duo” button.

Your 绿帽换妻 Horizon email account is where University communications are sent. with your NetID and password. Check often for important messages. Horizon email can be forwarded to a personal email account.

Check your tuition fees for your program and pay before the end of the orientation to avoid a late fee of $75.

Cal State East Bay requires that all international students carry health insurance that meets the minimum requirements. You must purchase health insurance from this that provides insurance that meets and exceeds the CSU requirements or submit proof of Government-Sponsored or Employer-Sponsored Insurance.

The closest airports to Cal State East Bay are San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK), and San Jose (SJC). Please arrange your own transportation to get to our campus. If you're staying on-campus housing, the address of the Pioneer Heights is: 1901 Harder Road, Hayward, CA 94542
