How to Register For Classes
The self-service system includes everything you need to register for classes.
Before you register for the first time, go to MyÂÌñ»»ÆÞ and indicate your Intent to Register. Within 48 hours you will be able to see your "enrollment appointment time" inside the MyÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Student Center indicating when you can enroll in classes. After receiving your enrollment appointment time in MyÂÌñ»»ÆÞ, check for holds and take the appropriate action to remove any holds that may be on your account.

Your appointment time tells you when you can begin to register. There are two enrollment periods for regular registration, followed by Open Registration, Late Registration, and the Late Add period. You will find the dates for these on the .
Search for Classes in MyÂÌñ»»ÆÞ
Go to to search for available classes. You may also make an appointment for to get help choosing classes for your major or degree program.
Enroll in Your Classes
Select classes to add to your enrollment shopping cart. Then confirm your class selections to finish enrolling. A tutorial on how to enroll is available here and there is also a with step by step instructions.
If you are unable to enroll, you may have a hold on your student account requiring action. Check your "To Do List" in for more information.
When you have completed the enrollment process, your fees will be billed to your financial account in MyÂÌñ»»ÆÞ account. For more information about when and how to pay fees, visit the Student Financial Services web site.
Holds
Holds may be placed on your student account, which may prevent you from enrolling in classes until they have been cleared. Check MyÂÌñ»»ÆÞ for any possible holds during the registration process, and be sure to take actions steps to remedy any holds in a timely manner to permit you to register for classes.
Each year all students must complete the and the Student Financial Responsibility Agreement, or a registration hold will be placed on your account until the requirement is completed.
Reasons for other holds may include any of the following items:
- Failure to pay debts owed to the University, such as an application fee
- Proof of Immunization
- Proof of Health Insurance
- Entry Level Math Test (ELM)
- English Placement Test (EPT)
- EOP Counseling Requirement
- Proof of Residency
- Final Transcripts
- University Writing Skills Requirement (UWSR)
- Library debts
Registration Priority
Approved by the University Academic Senate, the priority for enrollment is as follows:
- Students authorized to receive priority enrollment
- Graduating undergraduate seniors and graduating graduate students (who have filed for graduation and have completed 90 or more semester units in the case of an undergraduate or, in the case of a graduate or doctoral student, have filed for graduation and/or been advanced to candidacy by the faculty of the graduate program)
- Students authorized to receive early enrollment
- Freshmen
- Post-baccalaureate credential and doctoral students, and conditionally classified/classified graduate students in masters programs
- Seniors
- Juniors
- Sophomores
- Second baccalaureate, post-baccalaureate certificate program, and unclassified post-baccalaureate students
